Our 10-year timeline
Key milestones over the past decade
2009 - Launch of iERA
Through our dawah training courses and programmes we have empowered thousands of Muslims all around the world. We have had thousands of people embracing Islam and have planned and developed global campaigns inspiring hundreds of teams across six continents.
We have supported and developed thousands of new Muslims to connect themselves to God and positively contribute to their communities. Millions of our unique, persuasive and well-designed publications and materials have been translated into multiple languages and distributed all around the world.
Our first ever four-day all-inclusive annual residential retreat that empowers new Muslims to grow in knowledge and build a deeper connection with Allah. In turn, helping them appreciate the true beauty of this religion, both in theory and in practice.
These retreats are a rare opportunity to eat, pray and live Islam in an uplifting environment for new Muslims. All of this with a guarantee that when they return home, they’ll be able to implement what they’ve experienced for life, insha'Allah.
Conveying the message does not require a high level of scholarship, it is in fact a responsibility of each and every Muslim, according to his or her ability.
The Challenge of Dawah is a dynamic series of lectures given across the country. The purpose: highlighting the importance of Dawah and motivating the masses to get involved in Dawah and making it a key part in their lives.
We also launched one day interactive courses teaching attendees how to talk to others about Islam in a structured way. We also taught our own methodology called the GORAP, which deals with handling those uncomfortable questions that people always ask.

About 1.5 million people turned up over the weekend to free events across the capital while 500,000 paid to attend sports at Olympic venues. Well over one million fans lined the streets during the weekend's cycling road races.
We took the message of Islam to the world as they arrived on our shores for the London 2012 Olympics!
Muslims from 60+ countries across 6 continents registered for the Global Dawah Day, making it one the biggest dawah days in modern history.
We held the largest conference for Muslim women in Europe in 2013 addressing issues like Islamophobia, feminism and western politics. The 'Seeds of Change' conference was organised in order to give some of the most influential Muslim women in Britain a platform.
The one-day conference attracted more than 1,600 female attendees with the intention of changing the perception of Islam in the UK.
2014 - 'WHAT'S YOUR GOAL'
While the world was busy with World Cup fever, Muslims from across 6 continents and over 50 countries came together to call people back to Allah.
25th July 2014 was 'Global Dawah Day' which marked the finale of the campaign, many people accepted Islam during this period and many more received the message of Islam.
2015 - ‘DON'T HATE, DEBATE!'
In order to achieve social progression, tolerance and community cohesion, it is pivotal that different groups within our society are able to discuss their differences without abusing or transgressing the boundaries of free speech, which will inevitably lead to animosity.
The ‘Don’t Hate, Debate!’ campaign was aimed at raising the standard of intellectual discourse by highlighting the importance of tackling hatred in our society, and to also encourage people to ‘debate our differences’ rather than ‘hate our differences’. It was launched in January 2015 in response to the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris.
2016 - 'WHO DO YOU LOVE?'
Our ‘Who Do You Love?’ campaign has been very successful in engaging listeners, and raising awareness about why Muslims love and respect the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him).
Dozens of people have decided to embrace Islam as a result of  conversations initiated by a simple question - who do you love?
2017 - 'JESUS: SON OF MARY'
Nearly two billion Christians and over 1.5 billion Muslims believe in him, yet Jesus is perhaps the most misunderstood and misrepresented person in history.
Our exhibition explored and demystifies Jesus – his life, teachings, personality and mission. It highlights commonalities but also examines the differences between Christianity and Islam.
The book 'Jesus: Man, Messenger, Messiah' explains where and how the Qur’an challenges the traditional Church narrative. In doing so, it presents the reader with a compelling and clear understanding of Jesus and his true message.
Our new strategic focus involves prioritising the empowerment, development and support of individuals - who build and lead teams, create organisations and build relationships. This in turn enables them to engage in community work and deliver training programmes. This is why we now focus on recruiting and hiring highly competent Muslims to become outreach specialists, who will compassionately and intelligently share Islam across the globe.
We have over 40 outreach specialists in over 25 countries sharing Islam across 6 continents (Alhamdulillah).
As a result, plus through Allah's will and mercy, we have been blessed with thousands of people embracing Islam over the last 10 years. However, that is only the beginning of their journey, thereafter, we'll help in their future development within Islam.
